Established under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the CANAMEX Corridor Project aims to create a direct route from Canada to Mexico through United States. Currently, the corridor is defined by a series of highway. Nonetheless, the corridor is also proposed by use for railroads and fiber optic telecommunications infrastructure in the future.
