Growing the GICA Membership
Well on the way to our initial goal of 20 members, GICA has signed memorandums of understanding with eight (8) members: People's Republic of China, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO), Global Infrastructure Hub (GIH), OECD, and UNCTAD, bringing the total to nine (9) with the World Bank Group. In addition, we are pursuing memberships from UNESCAP, UNECE, and Indonesia — and several more potential members or contributors have expressed interest.
We welcome and encourage membership inquiries from G20 and other interested countries, multilateral development banks, international organizations, UN organizations, and established associations eager to participate in GICA and contribute to fulfilling its objectives. Other entities are invited to suggest a contribution to GICA-specific activities, based on their core competencies.
Organizations interested in participating in GICA can learn more on our membership page or by clicking the "Become a GICA Member" icon at the bottom of the page.
